In celebration of REI‘s #Optoutside day, join us for a family friendly short 8 mile ride around Otay Valley Regional Park.

Show everyone you like trails more than sales! Save the mall for another day and get OUT!

Bring your whole family! This community mountain bike ride is designed for beginners who would like to learn how to ride on dirt trails and explore Otay Valley Regional Park.

Meet at the Mace Street trailhead at 9 a.m. Ride will roll at 9:15 a.m. Please bring a bike with wide tires and gears in good working order, a helmet, water, snacks and anything else you need for a safe and comfortable ride. This ride will be almost entirely on dirt fire road and single track and will encounter a variety of terrain including sand and gravel.

Course:

The Quick n’ Dirty MTB Racing Dirty 30 will take place at Sycamore Canyon in Poway. This will be a fun event and the terrain will challenge all of your mountain biking skills. The start of the race will take you on a section of trail that allows you to descend in to the valley. From there it’s fast sprints, little climbs, world class downhill, flowy singletrack, and a lung testing ascent back up to the finish line.
