In this week’s MTB Tip of the Week episode, I will share with you how you can improve your shifting for less than $10. It may require a little more out of pocket if you have your local bike shop (LBS) do the labor, which I highly recommend if you aren’t comfortable with measuring and replacing your components yourself. The LBS was the subject of a recent tip of the week, so check that one out by clicking HERE. This week’s tip is a pretty easy installation however, and should be done more frequently than most component replacement, so it’s a good idea to learn how to do it yourself. This week’s tip should be especially helpful for many of you experiencing less than optimal shifting at this time of year when mud, rain, ice, and snow have been so impactful and prevalent in the northern hemisphere during this El Niño season.
